Quinn and Jack

Quinn is really enjoying his horseback riding lessons every Saturday. His favorite horse is "Jack". Today, Quinn trotted without any assistance-that is no one was trotting alongside with a hand on his leg. He got to ride Jack at the end of a lunge line and give commands to "walk on, Jack" and "trot, trot, Jack". Quinn's amazing smile was plastered on his face today as he rode in circles. Sadly, the video I thought I was taking didn't work out so I don't have the great footage. Before riding, Quinn has to groom his horse. He still needs a fair amount of assistance to brush, but he really seems to like picking out the hooves. After putting Jack away at the end of the lesson, Quinn wanted to ride a panther (on the carousel).

Water Babies

One of the best things about living in our condo is the swimming pool. It's a great place to spend time with the boys.

Up, Up and Awaaaaaaay, In My Beautiful....

My mom and I FINALLY had our chance to ride in a hot air balloon. We both really enjoyed the experience but were disappointed (in a weird way) that it wasn't at all scary. It was actually really peaceful. We were not warned about how hot the flame is that keeps the balloon afloat, but luckily had hats to keep what little hair we have from melting. We set down in someone's field and brunch was spread out for us. Luckily, the cops didn't arrive until after we'd eaten and loaded back up into the van.

Kip is a Dodger now.

Kip is having a great baseball season. He's learned some new moves and has become a much more proficient batter, catcher, and thrower. We are really proud of him. Plus we think he looks so darn cute in his uniform!

Kimberly, Kimberlee, Kim AKA k

Doesn't matter what we call her.......The kids love Kimberly. As do we. She's a kid at heart, but also a great teacher who has made a positive difference in all of our lives.
